Our Story

Source Investments was founded in 2014 by Tom Jewell, a former Surrey cricketer with a family background in property. He began by helping fellow athletes navigate the complex property market, offering a streamlined service for sourcing, financing, and managing investments.

After assisting cricketer Chris Tremlett with his portfolio, Chris joined the company. Ollie Smith, with financial services experience, became Managing Director, enhancing the firm's expertise. Amber Choinski also came on board to lead the Lettings & Management division.

Source quickly expanded to support business owners and high-earning professionals facing similar time constraints. That same year, the company launched a nationwide lettings and management service, enabling clients to invest across multiple locations with a single point of contact.

The in-house management team provided both streamlined services and valuable data insights, giving Source a competitive edge.

Since its inception, Source has facilitated over £120 million in property investments across 25+ locations, including recently the iconic Halo at Oval Village, London, and One Waterside in Bath developments.

Tom Jewell MARLA
Founder

Tom has a thirst for property knowledge and is a full member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA). He founded the successful estate agency The Home Cloud in late 2014 and is an expert in helping investors maximise their property investment returns. His passion and expertise for investing are what have set him apart, and are one reason why Source’s UK and Overseas client base is growing with such demand.

Ollie Smith
Managing Director

Ollie joined us in 2018 as a Director. Prior to joining Source, he had a successful career working as a specialist foreign exchange broker in London. Ollie’s role involves overseeing every aspect of the investment process, and his background in financial services means he’s well suited to advising new investors. He’s also heavily involved in ensuring Source secures the best investment opportunities at the very best terms for our investors.

Chris Tremlett
Non-Executive Director

Chris began working as a director at Source early in 2015. He has years of property experience in development and long term investment and boasts an extensive portfolio of his own. Chris brings unique skills to Source, having previously played cricket professionally for England and Surrey before retiring from the game, he’s passionate about helping sports men and women transition out of professional sport and plan for the future.

Amber Choinski
Director of Lettings & Management

Amber has been with us since 2018 and leads the lettings and property management business. She is responsible for setting service standards, overseeing team performance, and ensuring clients receive a consistently high, 5-star service. Amber works closely with the lettings and management teams to ensure processes are efficient, tenancy performance is strong, and properties are managed to the highest standards across the portfolio nationwide.

Josh Bullen
Head of Investment (UK)

Josh has been working in the property sector since 2017. His expertise is in helping private investors build high-quality, diversified, long-term rental portfolios. He is especially adept at working with first-time investors at the start of their property investment journey. Josh also takes a leading role in our market research efforts at Source. He is a valuable resource for our investors and the entire team with his in-depth research into market conditions, the mortgage market, and new emerging investment hotspots.

Freya Wilson
Marketing Executive

Freya joined us in 2025, and her role includes managing and delivering our core marketing communications, including social media, email, and website activity. With a background in design, Freya also leads our brand identity, ensuring our content and visuals stay consistent, creative, and true to who we are.

Izzy Kalloo
Lettings Team Leader

Izzy leads our lettings team and plays a central role in onboarding new clients. She is responsible for conducting valuations, marketing properties, and ensuring each instruction is launched smoothly and professionally. Working closely with landlords, Izzy focuses on achieving strong rental values while maintaining a high standard of service. Her attention to detail and hands-on leadership help ensure a seamless lettings process from valuation through to successful let.

Chira Gavaghan
Senior Property Manager

Chira plays a vital role in the smooth running of tenancies across the portfolio. This includes managing tenancy renewals, implementing rental increases, and handling rent arrears. She is also responsible for serving legal notices, overseeing check-outs, resolving deposit disputes, and preparing properties for new rentals. With a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and client care, she helps ensure both landlords and tenants receive a professional, proactive service.

Evie Cleall
Property Manager

Evie plays a key role in the day-to-day management of our nationwide property portfolio. She handles all aspects of maintenance with care and attention, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and to a high standard. Evie also oversees regular property inspections, ensuring homes are well-maintained, and ensures that all compliance documentation is kept up to date.

Anais Payne
Lettings Administrator

Anais plays a key role in guiding tenants through the lettings process. She manages everything from referencing to finalising documents and preparing check-in packs. Anais supports applicants every step of the way, making the move-in experience smooth and stress-free. With excellent communication skills and a people-first approach, she ensures both landlords and tenants feel informed and looked after throughout.

Amanda Tripp
Junior Property Manager

Amanda looks after the day-to-day management of our Hampshire portfolio. She handles maintenance issues with care and attention, coordinates regular property inspections, and ensures all compliance documentation is up to date. Amanda ensures properties are well cared for, and tenants are supported throughout their tenancy.
